Tech Review: UserGems
What Problem Does It Solve?
UserGems allows you to track if/when a prospect or client leaves their organization, where they are employed now, and even who replaced them at the original company you were tracking them at.
This is helpful for prospects during long sales cycles, where internal champions may leave the target company before the sale is complete.
It's also useful for current clients, to decrease the risk of churn when one of your main points of contacts leaves.
Who Should Use It?
Client success and sales teams would find value in UserGems, especially if they have a longer sales cycle.
Would We Recommend It?
We recommend this, but primarily to larger companies that need to track hundreds of contacts. The entry point is relatively high, so you may be better off manually keeping track of contacts using LinkedIn if you are a smaller operation.
