Digital Marketing Strategist

Job Description

A Digital Marketing Strategist (DMS) at FullFunnel is responsible for assisting with program development, optimization opportunities, and possible testing activities. You will drive the analysis of marketing campaigns and initiatives to identify tactics for optimizing marketing, marketing efficiency and marketing effectiveness and support design, sales, marketing, and account team members in the execution of the digital marketing strategy and analytics. The Digital Marketing Strategist defines success metrics, makes assessments of marketing channels and operations and helps with marketing campaign optimization efforts. Provides reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses with recommendations.

We are seeking creative, analytical people with 2 - 3 years experience managing and growing Earned Media programs through SEO, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing and/or Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, and/or Retargeting campaigns.

As a DMS you will be leading data-driven digital marketing programs for a variety of clients, and will report to the Director of Digital Acquisition on the Digital team.

Essential Functions

  • Collects data to measure & analyze return-on-investment across several key marketing and business initiatives
  • Perform campaign data analysis to understand the pipeline contribution and return associated with each program to aid in the development of future strategies
  • Work with cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of analytics projects & initiatives; and coordinate campaigns to support ABM and other marketing/business initiatives
  • Generate reports, documentation and insights as part of the analysis process.
  • Execute appropriate quality control procedures for analysis, reporting and data visualization for accuracy
  • Mentor and support Digital Marketing Analysts, Digital Marketing Interns, and cross-functional team members
  • Support the building of analytical capabilities and solutions (segmentation, modeling, campaign evaluations, etc.) that enable analytics to support the strategic goals of the Company
  • Review, analyze and present qualitative and quantitative analysis and data to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables that meet expectations while balancing business needs with the appropriate level of analytical rigor
  • Leverage storytelling skills to deliver insights that are clear, concise and actionable

  • 2 - 3 years of earned and/or paid search, social, and analytics experience
  • Strong knowledge of multiple digital channels and how they work together
  • Experience across various verticals including e-commerce, SaaS, and/or lead generation
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient with Microsoft Excel and data analysis (Python, SQL)
  • Knowledge of current SEO and SEM best practices
  • Experience working with and utilizing Google Analytics and other attribution solutions
  • Effective time management and project management skills
  • Client-facing experience or strong desire to develop client relationship management experience
