Account Director

Job Description

Our Account Directors (ADs) are dynamic sales and marketing strategists who know their clients’ businesses inside and out, and proactively bring new thinking through invaluable outside perspective and experience. They connect the dots and marshal strategy, resources, and talent to deliver all aspects of the modern customer acquisition process. ADs drive internal and external teams to make things happen - so that we win for our clients and FullFunnel. Think of this role as the quarterback of the whole FullFunnel business model.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the health and subsequent growth of their business unit.
  • Responsible for generating revenue and an acceptable return on deployed capital for your portfolio accounts.
  • Collaborates with internal partners in central operations to drive customer performance.
  • Encourages and supports team members in properly executing deliverables.
  • Manages change and conflict by offering guidance and support.
  • Consults and decides with team for challenging issues.
  • Demonstrates an aptitude to lead meetings with clear agendas, direction and next steps.
  • Uses clear and concise communication; is efficient both verbally and in writing.
  • Consults with Senior Partners for macro strategy development and continuous improvements.
  • Completes financial management of the account team and its portfolio.
  • Manages projects efficiently and effectively so they are completed on time, on budget and inline with client expectations.
  • Manages team training programs and development in conjunction with HR.
  • Serves as the main point of contact and accountability for all portfolio accounts.
  • Researches and develops an understanding of our client’s industry, competition, customer base, and drivers that impact their business.
  • Works with external vendors and parties on behalf of our client partners.

  • 4-8 years experience in a sales or marketing leadership position at a fast paced organization or a growing early stage business.
  • Exceptional sales presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, business operations, marketing, communications or related field.
  • Management experience
  • Ability to analyze data & make strategic decisions to achieve forecasted outcomes
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo and/or other CRM or Marketing systems.
  • High-level proficiency in Excel.
  • Formal sales training is desired but not required.
  • Strong writing skills.
